In the wonderful age of the internet we have at our fingertips all sorts of entertainment. And during a time where reality TV rules the networks it is inevitable that the worlds would meet. Sites like YouTube have allowed the average person to put a lot out there, some worthy of sharing with others. In February Issa Rae Productions introduced the world to “The Awkward Black Girl”. If you have not had the pleasure of seeing it let me be the first to tell you this “show”, if you will, is hilarious. As an “awkward black woman” I can totally relate but the show is not just for black women. There are a variety of characters and situations that will remind you of people or moments in your life. Every month a new episode is released and so far they have been well worth the wait. If you have ten minutes check out the show, you will not be disappointed.
